Kenya is taking advantage of somalia's weakness. Just because you hosting somali refugees doesnt give you the power to grab their resources.

Businesses in Eastleigh, have nothing to do with the marital dispute between, Somalia & Kenya, after all, let it be clear, as the shunning light of the Sun, that, we Somalis, will never ever cede a centimeter to Kenya, under any circumstance, it's the same blocks of oil, that we want to save the future of those refugees, you chained in the appalling Dadab camps, so "make hey while the sun shines"! Remember that our forefathers fought the British, with just crude weapons, while the colony was using fighter jets against Sayyid Muhammad, so don't take Somalia for granted, given its fragility, but remains the same that taught lessons, to invaders across the globe, throughout its history. Kenya welcome to the forum, !

Kenya is saying we can help Somaliland and Jubaland to keep up and add more gas to Somalia problems.kenya thinks this idea will make Somalia weaker. Kenya and Somalia are neighbors for ever. If the grass is green on Kenya side today.Tables can turn around one day. We will see Kenyans maybe face the issues that Somalis are facing today. Kenyans have been fighting every election and they have many tribes like us.we will never support something that will hurt the Kenyan people.I hope that Kenyans don’t burn all the bridges today.

There is no surprise that Kenya claims parts of Somalia’s maritime because Kenya already enjoyed parts of the mainland of Somalia and no body said anything about that

Kenya should have thought twice before abruptly sending Somali ambassador home. Because this diplomatic spat might take years to mend. By the way, it was Kenya that initiated this maritime adventurism in the first place.

These people have no idea what they're talking about... Somalia is not a failed state as they claim. As a matter of fact, all the greatest countries you know in modern days have had a civil war at one point in their existence and have overcome, recovered, and dominated the world we know today. A good example is; the United States, which has had a civil war worse than the one we had in Somalia and perhaps lasted as many years. However, look at the United States today.

The point I am trying to make here is that given the fact that Somalia is back on its feet and progressively getting better each day that passes and most importantly, the federal government is working hard to better its internal and foreign politics, imagine the future with all these untapped natural resources available and besides with the entrepreneurial mentality and maturity Somali people is known for all around the world when it comes to trade and investment scares the hell out of me as a Somali.

To be perfectly honest, Somalia is going to become the economic powerhouse in East Africa in a short period of time and Africa in general. Without a doubt, it will stretch its muscle all the way to the Middle East and beyond.
Mark my word, Somalia's future will shock and reshape the economic powerhouses we know today forever. All Somalia needs are a few years of peace and stability, and the big bang is unpreventable. I can assure you that Somali's success and dominance in the global market will be taught at economic schools and universities worldwide.

The other thing that annoys me is that Kenyans only see Eastleigh as the only major business hub Somalis have outside Somalia. They don't understand that Somalis live worldwide in large numbers and, as a result, established themselves in every sector. Everywhere they live, they are in the spotlight and quickly get noticed and show their presence in the wider community. No wonder Eastleigh is East Africa's biggest financial hub. Perhaps success is in our DNA.
By the way, Somalis have their own business hubs in all the developed countries which attract millions of people from all walks of life, and for that reason, Somalis have inherited the names such as the Kings and Queens of Africa. If you don't believe my words, you can google this matter or perhaps do your own research regarding this subject.
Whether it be the United States, Canada, UK, Australia, UAE, China, South Africa, Zambia, you name'' I can go on and on that Somalis have their own Business hubs worldwide, which increasingly generate more money than Eastleigh. That alone should at least put a brand-new spin of your cheap view of Somalia and its people.

However, this leads me to the golden question that I am sure you already have the answer. Well, If we Somalis have dominated all these foreign countries without a functioning government in the last 30 years, imagine what the future holds now that Somalis have a functioning government. Their country is rich full of untapped natural resources, with the longest coast in Africa and three different seas available for access with ease such as ''The Indian Ocean, the Red Sea and the Arabian sea" perhaps to expand our trade and investment globally... That sounds scary, doesn't it ...? Most economists are aware of this and are eagerly anticipating.

Having said that, I am pretty sure that millions of Kenyans will benefit from Somali's success soon for employment, job opportunities, investment, education, advanced health care, and more.

My dear Kenyans, I hope that's enough information, and as always, we Somalis will welcome Kenyans with an open heart and mind. In saying that, we still do not accept Uhuru Kenyata to steal our land before our very own eyes.
I think that's fair and square.
