How Job Cost Reporting in AccountAbility Works

Показать описание
AccountAbility has several views and reports to monitor job costs, so you can stop over servicing while it’s happening, not at the end of the job when it’s too late.
We start with the standard job list, featuring a traffic light system that indicates how time logged compares to the time estimated. Green indicates you're within 75%, while red means you're at 100% or over. From the job list, you can switch to different job cost summaries, including a financial summary providing key financial data for each job. Clicking on a job number allows you to drill down to see detailed information at the task type level, and further clicking on a task type reveals individual transactions for that task.
Additionally, you can navigate to the detail page for a selected transaction, providing comprehensive information to manage your job effectively. A helpful tip: set your homepage to the job financial summary for easy monitoring of job costs while in progress.
For those preferring a broader view, the job profitability summary displays key profitability data for each job, including estimated and actual costs, expected costs to come, and gross profit figures. The job time summary provides time data, including estimated and actual hours, and built hours.
Included in the job summaries are the job cash summary, detailing cash flow positions, and the job WIPP summary, outlining WIPP sessions for clients and jobs. These reports are part of the latest release of Accountability, with more detailed explanations available in separate videos.
Remember, you can set filters to view specific jobs or clients, and traditional Job Cost Reports (JCRs) offer detailed listings of transactions grouped at the task level, including all approved transaction details for various entries.
