Why is this E-Bike so popular? Himiway Cruiser Review: Long Range Fat Tires

This Cruiser was surprisingly fun to ride (and I expected a lot). So far I can't fault it. One of the most impressive features is the range. 35-60 miles per charge! The range you get depends on how much pedal assist you use. The 750W motor handles my weight and a trailer & kids with no issues. Going up steep inclines will be an issue if you are relying on the throttle, but if you assist with pedals, it can handle it. General inclines are no problem, but the speed will drop a bit.
Great bike for the price. Himiway sent me this bike to review. I was not paid for this video.

I bought a Himiway Cruiser three years ago and I just hit 1000 miles on it and the only issue's I've experienced was a flat tire and a striped crankset arm which just happened last weekend. It's a great bike with great power and I'm 230 pounds and I get over 30 miles with pedal assist. Highly recommend

If you hold the button for the lower power assist for two seconds while the bike is powered on it goes into walk mode and you could have walked it right up those stairs. It's a nice feature on the Zebra Himiway bike so it may be on the cruiser as well.

The one problem I have with this bike is I don't think I've seen a single review where the owner actually paid their own money for it. People are going to be naturally more optimistic when they got it for free, which is what Himiway are banking on.

Thank you for the video. Please consider the damage that may be caused by a rock flying off of the back wheel and into the bike trailer and take precautions to protect your cargo!

In my stating city, they are very popular. Very popular amongst thieves. Just can’t have nice things like this in San Francisco.

I already found a few channels in which Germans has motors in both wheels. They use the bikes to pull a little trailer in which they camp. It got a bed, a heater and solar panels for electricity.

I bought a used one with 30 miles on it from a lady .It was way to big for her even as a step threw. I'm 5"7' 200lbs and at 68 it's a beast. If did it again I would probably get a step threw with 20" tires.

If they could make this ebike with 2.5 inch wide road tires, it would be perfect.

I have the German version of this bike with about 2000km over the past year. Mixed feelings about it. The German version is 250w motor and limited to 25 kmh and throttle assist only to 6 kmh. Kind of gay compared to the full powered U.S. version but still fun. Struggles on really steep hills, a pig to ride with pedal assist off and I have to constantly adjust the brakes.

I'm about to buy one like that and I'd like to know how many kilometers I can travel in electric-only mode.

I want one and just deciding on which model! I need it to handle regular commutes to work mostly up hill and in all weathers. Also need it for shopping and as a general run-around. I'm a little worried by how heavy it is because I'm a 5.5 woman, so not sure how a smaller framed person would handle. I keep my current hybrid bike in the house as I have no where else to put it but I'm thinking I will need to buy a hut for this baby! 😂
