A quick look a some steep mowing of Spring grass. This section had been too wet to mow all winter, so now the grass is pretty heavy going, and the ground still a bit soft. Just another day at the office!

What an intense plot twist to find out that the cameraman was also on a riding

That is great use of 4 wheels to adapt the mower. My property is mostly that steep, about 2 acres and all I did was change my mowers rear tires to atv tires, not tractor style, just gripper style. I have three mowers that way, for at least 10 years. I support anyone to try more better!

I think that that is an awesome idea the mower has the power just needs the stability so I think the duals are a great idea

Cool video, love seeing mowers working on slopes. Always an element of danger.

Wait till I down load my back yard. West Virginia boy here. Don’t know what this guy is doing but my back yard I’d over 40 degrees vertical. 😋😋😋

Factory purchase or your adaptation? Nice.

Huh, I didn't know it was possible to put dual rear wheels on mowers. I might do that. I wonder if you can put dual wheels in the front as well.🤔

Wow that's crazy. If you did that with something like an x300 or x500 I think it would just slip all the way to the bottom!

I like your dual tire setup and what your machine can do! Did you initially have any interference issues with the dual rear tires interfering with your mower deck or deck wheels?

Great video! Are you able to cut to a low, nicely finished cut without the anti scalp wheels on the rear? Have a Deere 1025r subcompact tractor I’ve thought about modifying exactly like this with my 60” deck and adding duels for slope stability. Just nervous about taking the step of cutting off rear wheels and mounts. Still want a clean, even cut.

Found a smaller deck works better in tall stuff. What bogged a 72” diesel exmark wasnt hard for a 54” diesel kubota.

Those X758's just ate that grass up for lunch. That sure is a steep hill. I probably wouldn't trust any other machine to mow that hill besides a 4x4 Deere X700 series or an X5x5 series.

What grade was that hill man that mower handeled it well and what model is it and is that in Virginia or West Virginia and that mower was chewing throw it I am a John Deere person my self

I'm not sure why you're running duals for going up and down that hill, I could see going around it. Here in eastern ky there's a lot of modified mowers like my mower and my neighbors have a deere with the front axles widened and the rear wheels cut and widened with 23-14x12" atv tires

Thank you for sharing this! I know from experience that the grade looks to be 50 to 60% Looks like a JD 700 series. Is double rear wheel offered by JD or something that was customized? I can see that it’s wet and no sliding and you even put weight on the front to keep the blades level during the climb.

Mow on the way down turn the blades off and go up the part thats already mowed.

I still think there is a conversion kit which allows for the fitment of dual wheels.

It would probably do that stock knowing that mower I have one and I’ve mowed some pretty steep hills with it
