While we were in Acadia we were looking for a short hike after dinner. We found The Bubbles. It’s a 1.6 mile hike that splits in the middle so you can hike to either the North or South Bubble!

We hiked to the South Bubble first because it was getting dark and we wanted to see the sunset on the North Bubble Trail.

The views were incredible! We will definitely be back to hike to the North Bubble next time!

If you're looking for a short hike with incredible views, The Bubbles in Acadia is a great option!

We did both! Most people on all trails will say to skip the south bubble but I’m glad we were able to see both unique sides. The north side is definitely a better view but the south side has a cool rock balancing on the edge.

It was a lot of fun to explore!

The Bubbles are two small, rounded mountains located near Jordan Pond in Acadia National Park. They are popular hiking destinations, offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape.

The North Bubble is the taller of the two and offers panoramic views of Jordan Pond and the surrounding mountains. The South Bubble is shorter and has a unique rock formation balanced on its summit.

Both summits can be reached via a network of trails that branch off from the Jordan Pond Path. The North Bubble Trail is 0.8 miles (1.3 km) long, while the South Bubble Trail is 0.6 miles (1 km) long.

Would you do both sides?
