the fact this man was dedicated enough to fly there and be there for the game says a lot about his respect for the game and lebron tbh

This video actually made me respect Dion a lot more lmao not only did he fairly call out LBJ 10 years ago, he embraced the challenge today. He got cooked but the fact he performed well and almost won, I'd 100% take that as a big personal win.

Edit: The fact y’all are in here 7 months later crying about this dude proves he's won lmao

“I can hold him to 299 cuz he not bout to embarrass me out there”

“I’m averaging 6 fouls and 2 techs in the first 2 minutes” 😭😭 that tweet got me weak

The fact that he did well and almost won the game is amazing. This man will tell this story to his kids and grandchildren hundreds of times.

That tweet that said “I’m holding him to 98pts no way he gets 100 on me. Na uh not in my house #clamps” 😂

🤣 I love the honesty in the "How many points you holding LeBron to?" question's replies. Dude said "a calm 100" 💀

He's gonna talk about it after like "yeah I locked him down 42 only, nobody dropping 50 on D"

Gotta give Dion the respect though. Unlike most other people in situations like this, he actually stood his ground, never cowered, and even pushed back a little.

I don’t think people realize just how impressive this is? This dude works a regular 9 to 5, jumps on an airplane, flew across the country to play, arguably the greatest basketball player of all time. and then not only comes within three points of getting the dub, but also puts up NBA All-Star caliber numbers of his own!?! This is literally the kind of story ESPN 30 for 30s are made for! Much love Dion!!

The backbone on that guy. He was like: "Yeah Im gonna fly across the country, Im gaurding Lebron, whatever happens happens." Lebron is Lebron, hes a freak of nature obviously, but Dion is a legit hooper. Respect

"I'm actually the first man to trash talk an NBA player on Twitter and back it up" - KD's burner account.

At this point, I think Wright's more happy that he was able to go toe to toe with Lebron and held his ground. He didn't back down, and even almost won against a team featuring two NBA Superstars.

His trashtalking wasn't all hot-air, mad respect to him.

When he said he held lebron to 40 I just shook my head. We take king James for granted

I can't wait to play against LeBron James in the NBA! I have a lot of respect for a guy who's still better than ever at 37.

It's insane how Bron's held to absurd standards by the public at age 37.
