Why did Moses run away from Egypt?

When I was young and was told the story of the ark of the covenant, I was "shocked" (pun intended) to learn that God struck the man dead who reached up to prevent the ark from falling when the bearers stumbled. Everyone was told not to touch the ark, or God would smite them. I always thought that was unfair since he was saving it from getting damaged. When you consider that it was a power source, there is no judgment of fairness, only a matter of fact that if you touch it, you'll be killed from the electrical shock.

Explains why Moses would make up story, that God instructed him how to build the ark , Moses unlikely was capable to build a nuclear powered device & the staff being the remote controller... Moses being a pharaoh , knew a lot on the ark & perfect inside job, he learned the staff was the key power source, his brother(Ramsey) didn't realize that during the 10plagues Moses sent prior & Ramsey didn't figure it out, until Moses stole the ark and it says moses & Arron were the only ones that knew how to move the ark from one place to another without a bolt of lightning(from the ark) striking someones open portals entrance, ( there eyes, ears, mouth, rectum, or pee hole)& die . They removed the book of jasher, & other apocrypha books John, Thomas, Abraham, also removed the book of wars, the annals of jehu, the acts of Solomon, the book of records, chronicles of david etc

I also read several years ago that Moses had stolen the Ark of the Covenant. If the Reed Sea was parted, perhaps the device had something to do with it.

Carson's theory is that Moses and Akenaten were the same person. It checks out, except I thought Akenaten was assassinated. Really should look further back to Zoroaster (Zarathustra)(Zoroastrianism) because this was also monotheistic and around the same time in Persia. Also, the 3 Wise Men from the Bible were Zoroastrians...
