Benny’s rail plane was tested in the town where I live (Milngavie Pronounced Milguy)north of Glasgow). The building where it was constructed is still there and is now a building supplies company. Inchinan is beside Glasgow Airport.

If we built an electrified track above existing rail line. To carry these type of trains it would be a lot cheaper than creating a full new infrastructure for new types of Train. Look at the disaster of HS2 through costs. The Chinese have shown everyone what can be possible. Where there's a will there's a way.

The rail plane was such a cool idea. The dual purpose of it also being used for transporting irrigation water is genius. Sad to see when the better tech and ideas do not prevail over greed.

I cant agree that the rail plane train will be more economical than conventional rail trains. The infra structure costs will be astronomical in comparison with ground based rails taking also in account the seat capacity of the two systems. Stick to ground based rails and aircraft. Maybe area 51 has to reveal the anti gravity concept for anti gravity transport.
