Man Indicted in Navajo Officer Shooting

October 15, 2014 - NAZ Today has the latest on the Navajo Officer shooting that occurred earlier this week on the reservation.
Officer Joseph Gregg was responding to a call reporting a domestic disturbance in Kaibeto on the Navajo Reservation last Saturday, when he was reportedly shot by Raymond Herder. After an exchange of gunfire, Herder allegedly shot Officer Gregg in the face with a 12-gauge shotgun.
Herder has been indicted on charges of assault with intent to commit murder, and possessing, brandishing, and discharging a firearm. Federal court documents show no listed attorney for Herder.
