I was afraid to click on and open this video...especially with the thumbnail picture.(Why they are knocking that building down .?.Idk..maybe another God forbid parking lot?)But so far as I'm watching this and its rather a positive look at my hometown..Despite the abismal facts on population loss and gains..Appreciate what you have done here..Maybe you should read up on Washington DC developer Douglas Jemel and all the buildings he's buying up and redeveloping..Its quite amazing ..Thank You for doing this video..

I'm From Virginia, I moved to Buffalo in 2014. The cost of living is convenient, there's always something to do, and the people are friendly. 😊

As a Toronto resident I have a fondness for Buffalo having grown up watching Buffalo tv stations and occasionally visiting. It is honest hardworking town that has gone through some tough times but still has a lot of good aspects IMHO.

I was transferred to Buffalo in the early 2000s, and went kicking and screaming. The stories that I had heard/been told about this city were not pleasant, and the weather upon my arrival (early Jan.) was rough, as the largest snowfall in 20+ yrs had just fallen. I moved to the upper West Side and stayed for 3yrs. All of that negativity was not justified, as I ended up enjoying my time there, met great friends, and loved the seasons. I just went back to visit friends and felt a bit of nostalgia.

I grew up dirt poor in buffalo my mom had addiction issues and honestly the people I met growing up were some of the most generous kind people...my neibors always helped me and my little brother when our mom was too strung out to care for us and they taught us how to survive and are the reason I was able to make a better life for myself and move away

I was born and raised in Buffalo and I live in a Buffalo suburb. It is one the best kept secrets. Housing is affordable. Culture abounds. Restaurants are amazing but most of all is it’s people. Friendly and genuine.

Hello from Cincinnati. I first drove truck to Buffalo in 1975, sometimes 2 or 3 times a week, our terminal was in Kenmore, Millitary Road. Delivered new Chevrolets and Pontiacs all over Buffalo. Anyways liked the town and people!

I've lived in Buffalo, Columbus, Indy, Detroit and Chicago. Buffalo is, by far, the best of these cities BY FAR. It's a clean city with so much to do, the cost of living is very affordable, it's super easy to get around, the four seasons are very distinct, the public schools are excellent by any measure, the food is fantastic and the people are GENUINELY friendly and helpful. I would never want to live anywhere else.

Hard to believe they used to call this awesome city the Arm Pit of America. I absolutely love Buffalo the people are amazing.
There’s lots to do there to, I’ve always found it calling me back. I’ve been coming to the Buffalo area since I was a young lad, that’s over 50 years now.
I would recommend the city to anyone, and I’m Canadian. I’d rather visit Buffalo than go to many other places.

I get a little teary eyed when I think of Buffalo. I grew up 45 min north outside the city in the suburbs and never was really allowed to venture down there by myself growing up. It took some friends, family, and being married to finally let me explore the city more and I gotta say it gets more and more beautiful with each time I visit and have time to stop and enjoy. There are some really cool things I've been to. There's Shakespeare in Delware Park that I love to visit. My favorite place is Broaderick Park where I can watch the Peace Bridge change colors at night and walk along the path and then get off the path under the rails, and sit on the rocks safely and eat a snack. The Buffalo Japense Garden is exquisite behind the Buffalo History Museum. And there is soo much to mention. But I now live 45 mins south of Buffalo in another county and I always feel like Buffalo is home even though I lived in the Suburbs. And I miss home in some ways. But I visit often as my brother, Uncle, and birth mom live there. And I visit my adopted family often in the suburbs. But I love that my husband has fallen in love also with the city and the suburbs too. He grew up in the heart of the county below Erie in Chautauqua County. So my area was brand new to him sorta, and he has fallen in love with it just as I have. I never get tired of seeing the beautiful shots of the buildings and history. It's really cool to see it when u come in to landing from the plane. Beautiful view u'll ever see. U see buildings, houses, and greenery as far as the eye can see. Amazing.

I recently drove to Buffalo from Cleveland to go to concert. I stayed the weekend on Delaware Ave in the Allentown area. It was very nice. The Key Bank Arena was great. I can't believe there is leg room between the rows. So much better than Rocket mortgage Field House Arena in Cleveland. Downtown was very easy to get around by car. The architecture is beautiful. Definitely will be back!

I have lived and worked in the Buffalo area for more than 40 years. Mayor Brown turned some of the worst areas of the city into a beautiful neighborhoods any one would want to live in and we now have condos downtown that most people cannot afford but they are selling like hot cakes, showing that even the wealthy want to move downtown.

Here to represent Buffalo and the 716, I love all of you. It's nice to see content about Buffalo, and there are so many peaceful nooks and crannies in the city as well.

Thanks for a vid that highlights the positive aspects of our city. It truly is a wonderful place, and there is room for everyone, no matter who you are. It is a beautiful and diverse place full of potential friends.

Too many people focus on the negatives of Buffalo, but that kind of stuff is in every city. Here in Buffalo, you will see things you'll never see anywhere else.

I worked in Buffalo 5 years ago Building 2 new Hospitals Installing the HVAC Systems in both buildings. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised how clean the City was. Also the people as a whole were really helpful and friendly. I was there almost a full year and enjoyed my stay in Buffalo.

Definitely go to Riverworks next time…it’s where you saw the Ferris wheel! It’s where our Roller Derby teams play, and also has a restaurant, a Brewing Co., a zip line, kayaks, paddle boards, a rope course, silo climbing, ax throwing, concerts and events. Our waterfront is beautiful, and we have beaches. Buffalo also has an amazing theater district, music venues, museums, and is home to many festivals. Did I forget the Bills Mafia? The Sabres? The Bisons? The Bandits? We love our Goo Goo Dolls too! Lots of movies are filmed here, including Nightmare Alley, and Marshall… our city has beautiful architecture! Forest Lawn Cemetery is also a must see. I could go on and on…

Also love that you opened with the Naval yard. Its definitely a buffalo gem. The SS Sullivan started sinking a few months ago and had to ferociously be saved from going all the way under. I believe they're still trying to get funds to completely repair the issues (hence the save the sullivans sign you can see there!)

The city hall was built in the "art deco" style and is considered an arquitectural masterpiece

I've lives in 5-6 cities from Miami, Dallas, Charlotte, NC, NYC & Buffalo. Buffalo was my favorite. Amazing food, friendly people and a beautiful city. Except the winter, which I don't kind, it's a hidden gem. Would rather live in Buffalo then anywhere else in the U S..
