It’s not weird at all. I would do it and I might do it in the future. Some times hotels just don’t have good tea.

Who doesn’t travel with their own tea? Even when I lived in the US, I travelled with Tetley tea (now, any good Assam will do) because most hotels and restaurants had Lipton’s. Fine for iced tea, but terrible hot tea.
