Federal judge orders Elon Musk to pause shutdown of USAID

Now a federal judge has put a roadblock in the way of Elon Musk's attempts to dismantle the US Agency for International Development.

The judge ordered Mr Musk's department of government efficiency - known as Doge - to pause its shut down of the department, which was one of the first government agencies to be taken apart as part of the Trump administration's efficiency drive.

Their purpose is to take a wrecking ball to the USA.

USAID money, in particular, delivered best cost-benefit for intelligence-gathering from human sources across the world. Not only is rebuilding impossible after weeks or months of absent funding and furloughed staff, it's also impossible to rebuild the lost trust of those military intelligence sources in foreign nations.

Yes, those Trump guys obey the law. The people who lost their jobs were doing thing they didn't know was wrong. So of course it liks bad to them. They were told to spend money by the government that shouldn't have been spent in the first place.

I suggest that those who advocate closing DOGE open their own fund and fill it with their personal money. Let my tax deductions be used for the right purpose: road repairs, salaries for firefighters and doctors, hospital renovations, etc. I personally am not going to deduct money for USAID. They have already stolen a lot. Also, before you come out with such demands, first study where and to whom this money went.
