If you are having problem not finding the extension/addons in the newest version go to: Extensions > Ink/Stitch > Thread Color Management > Install thread color palettes for Inkscape. Thats the first step of this tutorial.

hi there Im on Mac Big Sur and I just downloaded ink stitch. when I try to install the add ons it does not give me the option to do so. any tips?

It's weird, I'm capable of start the simulation whit the green circle but whit the yellow I have an erreur message (path924: error: Fill: Shape is not valid)

Is the "Install addons" bit still relevant? I don't have that option in my version

I'm following the tutorial and finding a lot of menu changes. I can't seem to create a shortcut key and can't find documentation for the new changes. When I go to Edit>Preferences>Interface I then get "Keyboard" not "Keyboard Shortcuts". Fine, the menu looks the same here. But when I find params and try to set the shortcut the widow tab flashes at me and nothing happens.

I'm in a much newer version. In the Layers and Objects panel, I only have the upper portion on the window. In the tutorial, he shows a lower window in the side panel. Hard to tell in the blurry video but it looks like commands. How do I get that lower window? TIA

Hi there, I fail at the first step trying to install the addons on windows with inkscape 1.1 and inkstich 2.0.0. I open the Extensions/Inkscape tab and there is no English tab, it has about, commands, edit but nothing to do with installing addons. As a result when click on the pallet I have none of the additional ones.

I cannot see the "print" option. Where can I find this or how can I do this?

The simulator worked with all pallets except RGB

you lost me right up front when you said "install pallets" in specific folders. You gave key strokds... where are they entered? Where do these pallets come from?

Hello, please help me tell me why I can't generate g-code like for computer embroidery so that the needle goes from left to right X-Y like in simulation only g-cod how for cnc machines on the periphery? I do so that I prepare a drawing in Extensions-Ink / Stitch and then I try to generate g-cod in Extensions-Gcodetools-Path to Gcode ... what am I doing wrong? please help inscape ver 0.9.23

I am trying to get the palettes to install. It says that they did, but they are not visible. I have also restarted the program and the computer.

hey, i'm on mac big sur and i can't find the print preview button, has it been removed or put somewhere else? it just goes straight from params to satin tools, thanks in advance this application and the tutorials are great

hi, on all the colors i choose (that i use for my machine) it says file not found. it is also in an other place as more people has stated here. amazing video. but i guess it will soon need an upgraded version since the new inkscape looks a little different and has been updated alot:) you still have the best inkstitch tutorials.

None of the functions you're setting up shortcuts for show up in my "keyboard shortcut" menu. Do they have different names in the new version or something like that? Like, if I search for "params" there's only Parameter and Parametric Curves..
