It's cool to be watching this video five years later, and see how much both your channels have grown since then, how you've both become top educators on the platform. You're both so excellent.

Two of my favourite channels! Rock and Roll!
I think you sound beautiful singing Radiohead Rick! 👍

Actually Rick most of the mainstream youtubers upload like once a week. You are really the only one who uploads daily and still manages to keep it fresh.

2 awesome teachers that deserve the best for everything they do on YOUTUBE. When music lovers get together you see the natural goodness/passion it produces.

Wow...the power twins together. I have probably learned more about music from you two in the last year than the entire previous 54!

Next achievement: we put Rick, Aimee, Adam, June, and Jacob all together in one room with a bunch of instruments. Would the universe explode into quantum microtonal aether? Would harmony and antiharmony mutually annihilate each other? Or would we just hear some really tasty Lydian augmented riffs?

What's so funny is how YouTube's algorithm led me to June Lee's interview with Jacob Collier which then eventually led to Adam Neely's video on fake books as a jazz shibboleth which led me to Aimee Nolte's channel and how she left behind her fake books and then I finally landed here on Rick's channel on how to solo over certain types of chords. Fantastic stuff. I nominate you all to perform together!

I've been watching both of your youtube channels. I could never sing on pitch until 3 months ago. I got a vocal real book and I'm singing and playing on the piano . My singing is helping with ear training. I was really astonished how much my ear has improved. Singing on pitch has given me love for playing piano again. A music teacher at Cal State Fullerton said many years ago that I was tone deaf. Little did she know. Your youtube channels have inspired me.
