Delain are a Dutch band that have been around for a while now. - formed around 2002 I think. Have a listen to some of their earlier stuff with their original vocalist, Charlotte Wessels. I particularly like "The Gathering". When Charlotte moved on I was initially unsure about the new singer (Diana Leah) but the more I hear of her the more I like her voice.
Loved your reaction to them and would love to see you react to more from them and any of the other female lead symphonic rock/metal bands (Within Temptation, Nightwish etc.)

This is a very different vibe, but you should check out Istasha! He produces and sings and everything himself, and he makes some really interesting songs.
