i come back after a year with out playing. was doing some pvp and i noticed that melee is pretty much unavoidable now. i dodge and get hit and way. i play a bow rapier build and used to triple stack bleed and finish tanks now i can bearly touch them with out being perma stun locked. what the hell happened?

I am doing a similar route with a fire staff but got empowered incerate as a perk/trait on my crafted staff, seeing as I don't use that skill is there a way to change perks or is it a roll?
