About 10 years ago, my mail stopped arriving for about 5 months. It really messed me up, ....my bills weren't arriving. I made other arrangements with the companies. Then about a year afterwards, I got a pile of my mail and it was all covered in axel grease and dirt, and there was an official tag on it that said: "evidence" and a note explaining that my postman had a nervous breakdown, and he stopped delivery people's mail, and began throwing it in his garage. The post office finally figured it out, and my mail delivery resumed arriving. Really weird.

Sona isn't completely out of line because there are people who make it look as if there is a UPS shipping and then gets lost in hopes that you don't go to your card company to ask for a refund and just forget about it. It does happen. Especially in the weird or Chinese object markets sometimes.

I work for Canada Post. We have a security and investigation team. People need to have trust, and rely on the mail, therefore any loss, out of the millions of items per day, is a big thing.
