I was leaking a small amount of breast milk out of one nipple and I was not pregnant. It turned out that I had a tumor in my pituitary gland that caused me to have elevated prolactin levels. It was found through having an MRI. Videos like this can save lives. Thank you for sharing this. I have had treatment since then and I am in full remission.

Thank you for using images that all have different shapes and sizes of breasts.

In todays world it can really get you down when your breasts aren’t just right or the ideal, and seeing breasts that look similar to yours, even in an informative video like this, is extremely validating and a reminder that your breasts are perfectly normal and beautiful.

I love how you're not trying to exagerate it, sensationalize it or scare people. You're calm and just saying what the symptoms are; not nesscarily saying what they mean.

remember, dont panic before you seek medical help! it’s not always cancer! i’m 22 and back in august i noticed a big thickening (around 4x4cm) on one side of my right breast. i was so terrified because i thought it must be cancer and i got depressed. i quickly got an appointment with an oncologist, an ultrasound and it turned out it’s a non cancerous tumor. that’s why it’s important to spread awareness. everyone says to examine your breasts regularly but no one tells you about non cancerous conditions that may cause tumors, cysts, etc. i literally had no idea a tumor doesn’t always mean cancer before this! and mind you in highschool we had a lot of gatherings to spread awareness with breast cancer survivors and no one ever told us that!

my mom got diagnosed with breast cancer after a free public checkup. anyone above 50 were told they could get checked and my mom hesitated that day, feeling slightly unwell, but ended up going. it was caught so early that she didn't need chemo, just surgery and radiation. half a year later she was cancer free ❤ please always check for signs, and even if there are no signs, never hesitate to get check ups. men and women both, for different kinds of cancer. it doesn't matter your age or family history. that scare with my mom has gotten me to check these signs often, and to tell her that I love her more often as well😊

One day, my dog aggressively sniffed my breast. I flinched away to see that I was bleeding through my nipple. I ignored it for a while thinking that it bled because it got hurt by my dog. It turns out I had DCIS and had to get a mastectomy. My little pup saved me that day. I'm still considered a high risk patient for my other breast, but this time, I'm looking for all the signs and not ignoring!

I was diagnosed with breast cancer at 42. I'm 45 now and one year in remission. Ladies and persons assigned female at birth please pay close attention to these tips and make sure to do your own monthly self checks. I had Invasive Ductal Carcinoma, very aggressive, and the tumor grew in 3 cm in 2 months. I did 8 rounds of Red Devil then 4 rounds of Taxol until the neuropathy became a problem and they stopped halfway through the 8 round cycle planned. In November 2021 I had a bilateral mastectomy then I did 15 rounds of external beam radiation therapy. I just celebrated my first anniversary in remission August 31, 2024.
