As an Iranian I think the attacks on Pakistan were wrong but I suspect they had some coordination with Islamabad before hand even though Islamabad denies this. The two contraries have strong economic ties. Iran has already declared that the people killed by Pakistan's attacks were all foreigners which is blatantly a lie so that Tehran can save face. Im sure some of my Iranian Baluchi brothers died in that attack.

Both Iran and Pakistan attacked Balochi militias, that seek shelter in both countries and want an independent Balochistan.
And that looks like a hypocritical agreement. They cannot attack own Balochi citizens - that would look too bad. So, they allow a counterpart to do that... And blame each other.

I don't think they are interested in a war. And they definitely don't want to see any separatists.

As an American I think Iran is the dumbest country in the world to strike a friendly country and provoke them like this. Pakistan was the only country in the world that considered Iran their friend in the region. No one has strike Iran since 1980s and claimed it like Pakistan did. This certainly weaken Iran stance.
