Dust Storm Causes Multiple Wrecks In West Texas

Показать описание
Extreme wind kicked up dust across areas of Central Texas and the Panhandle on Friday, March 14, creating dangerous driving conditions and multiple crashes. It's all part of a dangerous combination of hurricane-force winds, dry land and cratering humidity levels that are bringing sweeping dust storms and an "extremely critical" fire threat to millions across wide swaths of Texas, New Mexico and Oklahoma on Friday. Some towns have been evacuated due to nearby fires, while multiple roads are closed around the region – some due to near-zero visibility triggered by sprawling dust storms; others due to smoke and flames from fast-moving wildfires.

Hope all are safe, but so glad i don't live in Texas which has the highest rate of tornadoes of any state per the American Climate Center, dust storms and wildfires, a real "Armageddon" indeed! Reminds one of the Great Dust Bowl of the 1930s! History repeats in more than one way!

It was scary. I have been in it all all day going home south of Shulenberg from Colorado. No fun. Props to most everyone for going slow

West Texas is famous for its springtime dust storms, Yes this is a bad one, but not uncommon. More common in the fifties and sixties . You couldn't see the house across the street.

When you're in a dust storm the idea is go as fast as you can so when you hit another car or truck you don't have to worry about going back home!!!

What could be causing it to happen? Divine punishment, as it says in Deuteronomy 28:24, or it is just a normal event?
Make your own conclusion.
