LAND DAY
March 30, 2025. 1:00 PM.
Union Square. Manhattan, New York City.
"On March 30th will take to the streets across the entire country to commemorate the Palestinian right to remain and right to return to historic Palestine!
This year, as Trump threatens to ‘take Gaza’ and as the Zionist displacement campaign persists in the West Bank, our duty to stand with Palestine is as urgent as ever.
We are undeterred in the struggle for Palestine!
NATIONAL MARCH ON WASHINGTON
April 5, 2025. 1 PM
Washington DC, USA.
"Stop the Genocide! Ceasefire now!
Gaza has endured a brutal and ongoing genocide carried out by Israel with full backing and support of the US government for over 16 months. Even after a ceasefire was reached, Israel continued to violate the terms of it, culminating in a complete blockade of the Gaza strip on March 1st blocking all food and aid from entering Gaza, and a return to all out war with intensified bombing and ground invasion on March 17th.
On April 5th, we are standing up to Trump and his plan for Gaza, we are standing up to repression, we are standing up to the US’s continued facilitation of the genocide in Gaza. We demand a permanent ceasefire and an arms embargo now!
"THEY CAN’T KILL THE STORY! Join us on Thursday as we hold the criminal New York Times accountable for manufacturing consent for genocide, and the martyrdom of brave journalist Hossam Shabat (Hossam Shabat was killed by Israel, on Monday, March 24, 2025) and over 210 of his colleagues. Martyr posters honoring Hossam will be distributed.
Hossam, who was 21 years old when the latest genocidal onslaught began, risked his life to report the truth that the NYT tried to kill. “A reason why we are still being bombed,” Hossam said back in June, “is because of the New York Times and most western media. They continue to spread misinformation, and are willing to jump many [hoops] instead of stating that Israel is committing genocide or that Isreal is killing Palestinians daily. The New York Times is complicit in this genocide. The New York Times has the blood of 15,000 Palestinian children on their hands.”
For the last 18 months, Zionists’ sadistic slaughter of Palestinians has been relentless. Hossam was one of the many martyred journalists who repeatedly ran to the bloody scenes, refusing to let western media distort the crimes committed by the Occupation onto his beloved people. In a video of his funeral, his mother called out to him as his community surrounded his body in mourning, honoring him for changing the world. Minute by minute he bravely showed us the reality. We are forever indebted to him.
Join us in sadness and rage as we rally at the imperial rag’s HQ. We honor Hossam by carrying his message forward. We honor Hossam by relentlessly fighting against genocide. We honor Hossam by putting his face everywhere. They can’t kill the story," said Writers Against the War on Gaza before the demonstration.
