Today I am sharing what I put in my kids Easter baskets. I ordered all of this online from old navy and amazon with exception of one item at Costco! I wanted to make my kids smile even amidst all the craziness we are facing. We are still celebrating Easter and Jesus’ resurrection and we are also going to give them their baskets! Let me know down below what you’re putting in your kids baskets this year!

We do Easter baskets every year, and I’m more excited about them this year than ever before for the same reason you shared. I do a mix of practical (shoes/body wash/spray/etc.) and fun too. I’m looking forward to seeing my boys smile.

Your dogs 😂 and your annoyance at your dogs 😂! This is me every. day. with my dogs. One is a blood hound. 🤦‍♀️ They drive us nuts but we love them. Haha We do similar type Easter baskets with a book, a few good candies, typically something to wear and something to play outside with and typically a lego. Oh and pooh bear this year. My 6 year old is super into Pooh and I think it's so sweet. I can't not crochet or buy a Pooh! Haha We are definitely celebrating Easter!

I love the Easter baskets! So cute :) Last year we stopped doing Easter eggs for our kids, because we are trying really hard to limit the amount of candy they receive. Instead, we got a rock painting kit and let them all paint rocks. Then we hid the rocks around our house and yard, and they LOVED it. We decided that we will paint a couple new rocks each year and then let the rocks also serve as decoration on our Easter table. I like that the rocks remind us of the stone that was rolled away from the tomb, and my kids really enjoyed taking last year's rocks out the other day to see what they had painted. It will be so fun through the years to see what they created.

I decorated the Halloween buckets with pastel (and flower pattern) fabrics. I added details with leftover lace, pom-poms and other items I had on hand. I've had small coloring books and random fun toys, pencils, stamps and other things in our "learning store" stash, squishes, so those are going in there. My mom had leftover plastic eggs from last year, so filling those with erasers, stickers, and candy I ordered on amazon. Love your ideas, your kiddos are going to be so thrilled!

We're totally doing Easter baskets and doing an old fashion Easter egg hunt at home. Mine are getting Easter clothes (picked out before all this crisis mess) and some goodies.

I got books from amazon and I ordered some chocolate from Sanders.com because they were offering free shipping on orders of $35 or more. So I got chocolate suckers, salt water taffy, and one other thing. I also ordered a bubble machine from amazon for both the kids to open up. I love the dogs making an appearance! ♥️ My kids love the squishmallows too!
