Okay I don't know if this is ever going to materialise into an actual product but I love the idea that your phone negates the need for gps systems, lights, camera, video - everything. Please tell me someone is making this by now?

Вова Выдрин, ты забыл перечислить еще один момент. iPhone 5, новый, стоит 300$, а б/у  можно найти и за 100, а вот крутой навороченный Дрон, со всеми подобными возможностями, стоит несколько штук баков. Вот и выбирай, что дешевле бутет разбить - старенький Айфон  или дрон за несколько штук? А к iDrone можно будет присоединить не только Айфон, но и обычный, дешевый смартфон у которого есть нужные датчики.

Cool, in theory. I doubt it will fly the way it is currently designed. I didn't see a lipo battery in the design and the battery that come in phones do not have enough C rating to supply enough amperage to the motors continuously. Good luck, I look forward to seeing a

Отличие этого изобретения от стандартных коптеров в том, что помимо камеры он в воздухе оснащен 4, 7-дюймовым HD-дисплеем, 4-хъядерным 65-разрядным процессором, уровня настольного компьютера, 1, 2-хмегаписельной фронтальной камерой, направленной в пластиковую пластину, сканером отпечатков пальцев, интеллектуальным голосовым управлением и множеством программных наворочек, которые как и все перечисленное безумно полезны на высоте полета. Когда эта штука выйдет из строя в воздухе, телефон вряд-ли выдержит удар об землю, или погружение в водоем. Я не вижу в этом устройстве никакого смысла.

Абсолютно бесполезная вещь.
У меня не то что нет одного айфона, у меня нет второго айфона, чтобы управлять первым.
iPhone 5 и 5s теряют свою актуальность с каждым днем. Уже есть iPhone 6 и скоро выйдет новый.
Вот если бы это был просто дрон, который складывался бы в компактную коробочку, имел бы свою камеру и мог на крайний случай подзарядить айфон от своей батареи, было бы здорово.
