This is a true story I had a heart attack a d had been released from the hospital one night I woke up to my cat giving me chest compressions...I woke up a d reassured Emma I was ok...may be I stopped breathing...Emma was homeless when we found our fur baby she is now a most beloved pet.

My dog is so smart ( Rottie) when i tried that 2 different times he went straight to my back and touched his head on the sensitive part and I couldn’t help but jump and say something then he just walked on off and started minding his business 😂😂😂

Both of them are loyal, dogs are just blindly obedient creatures, dog probably just incase for good measure that's why it stayed by the owner, the cat probably just thought the owner was testing him and figured out was faking it, he just indulged in it for abit then mehh he's alright. Hahahahaha

Funny if you watch closely he picks his arm up to commands his dog to him otherwise that dogs ears would be alert standing straight up

The 1st thing the cat did was check that he was breathing, without hesitation. Then, like the master manipulator they are, non-verbally got the dog to come help, while the cat then patrolled and looked for more nearby solutions. Both loyal, cat's more intelligent.

The cat checked him out first then when the dog walked over the cat realized he could leave it to the dog. But I'll say this, when pet owners perish home alone, the cat will start eating the deceased owner a lot sooner than a starving dog would. I dont think its related to loyalty though, cats are probably just more practical, while dogs seem more sentimental.. i think they both love their humans just the same at the end of the day though
