*Luxury spending idea*
Every time you get paid, take 5% or 10% out of your income and place it in a cash envelope. Then, at the end of the year or around you birthday, spend it on whatever luxury items you want.

Love this! Budgeting is all about creating room for what matters the most to you and if luxury is your thing more power to you, girl! I live a frugal lifestyle and that allows me to afford the designer bags and items I want. It is entirely possible if you have a plan!

I totally love this video! From a bankers perspective I wanna add one thing: Make sure to differentiate between saving and investing cause you really need both.

The investing is for your long term goal.
The savings should be your “emergency fund” that doesn’t change in value (cause stocks can go down and you don’t wanna lose money if you’re already in an emergency).
So your investment for your future and your savings to give you security!

Great tips! Ladies I just want to add with store credit cards, pay attention to the interest rates! Do not, DO NOT apply for a credit card with an interest rate (APR) over 20%. Store credit cards will usually have an interest rate higher than your bank but even banks might charge an interest rate over 20%. Please Queens pay attention to the interest rate of every credit card you apply for. The lower you find, the better.

I'm 14 and I get an allowance. My whole thought process was buy cheep things that are a necessity. I realized if I kept taking money from my family I'd become dependent on them, and it makes me feel bad .Now I'm working to get my first job and bank account.

I find it really admirable that you learned how to budget. Going from nonsense spending to learning to manage your money is huge! Personally, I like going to my bank and having appointment with a financial advisor. Depending on my income, current non-negotiable expenses, and short term and long term goals they can set up different investments and savings accounts. I have complete access to it through online/app banking. Currently I believe I just have to go in once a year to I think reapprove or something lol. Otherwise the chosen amount comes out automatically every month. If my current income or expenses change I can always stop, or change the chosen income. My bank (and I would hope all!) is very transparent and if there’s any restrictions or penalties they tell you up front, so there’s no worry about missing anything or not reading the fine print! They literally go through EVERYTHING with you. Love you xoxo

Let me tell you something one reason why I love Hailey is because she makes her life sooo relatable ! And says things a lot of other you tubers won’t tell you, they don’t keep it real! Hailey shows you how easily (but still can need discipline to get ) it is to obtain a luxury lifestyle just like everyone else and all these other you tubers that have this life ! She’s showing you her process and being very open an transparent (obviously with boundaries you don’t need to know everything someone does or had or even makes ) and I’m absolutely loving it .
