Ipad mini 6 can be used to do real work. I have mine with an expansion hub, an external SSD, usb keyboard, the 2nd gen pencil, and finally the Satechi Foldable Aluminium Stand. I can do real work on this machine. It can be set up for work, but you can then disconnect the Mini from all other devices when on a journey and use it to read or watch content. I bought mine with the 256gb internal storage plus sim card with unlimited data plan as well as all of the above bits of kit. A powerful tool.

What I hated with the iPad 10the gen is why the screen is non fully laminated.. Like why for a tablet with that price. It's insane.

I watched your video like 5 times or more and still don’t know wich one to get as I’m on a budget I can get a refurbished IPad mini 6 for 400euro and an iPad 10 gen for 350euro. So my question is wich one to get!?😅 I’m back and forth as I don't really know as it's my first time getting and iPad as l'm a singer I need a device that plays my backing tracks while I'm singing as I don't want to bring my MacBook all the time as it's big and heavy and may break due to audience dancing at my shows so on.
And I would love to try start to learn drawing and make notes and plan my days with it. So it's not for long travels just to my hotel venues. So I’m not sure wich of the 2 would be best as I’m worried the iPad mini is too small but it supports Apple Pencil 2 wich I like. What would you recommend? The iPad Mini and iPad 10 are really meant for fundamentally different purposes. The iPad Mini is a handheld e-reading and personal note taking and organizing tablet, while the larger iPads are meant to be used on tabletops and with keyboards and laptop supplements, or replacements. If the Mini didn’t suit my needs, then I’d personally go for an iPad Air 4 if I wanted a bigger display than the Mini, I wanted to use accessories like the Pencil 2 and Magic Keyboard, and I didn’t have the money for a Pro 11. If you want a truly handheld tablet, go Mini 6, if you want a full-size tablet to go with keyboards and don’t have the money for a Pro, then go Air 4.

The large variety of productivity uses for the Mini demonstrates how versatile it can be. A Master of Non - But Good at a lot of stuff - Fine by me!!!

I bought an iPad Mini Cellular 9 years ago. I do not browse with it - I'm an adult -so I use my 14" laptop to browse and an Apple TV for viewing.
After 9 years of ownership - I use my Mini almost exclusively when I "TRAVEL" - to do the following (otherwise it sits in a drawer)

#1- as a GPS unit in my vehicles - the best GPS ever (70%) That's after over 150K miles of road trips - when I need a GPS around town - my iPhone works fine.
#2 - as a Sidecar or mirror screen to view video paired with a M2 MBA (25%)
#3 - as an eReader (4%)
#4 - the odd miscellaneous task (1%) This might change with the pencil.

I will likely buy the new Mini 7 when it comes out @ year end. The Mini is simply a great portable complimentary high performance device that sits between an iPhone & Laptop (my MBA M2 being my favourite most used Apple)

It depends on what your use is. Each iPad has a user base in mind. The mini isn’t for school children or the elderly. The mini isn’t for people who need a larger screen, period. iPad 10 is an update for iPad 9. It’s great for school students and those who already have a pencil 1.

And yes, I have a mini 6 that I love but I wouldn’t give it to my near 80 yr old mother to try and look at.

10th gen vs ipad air or just ditch the two and get the mini which one should I get? And do i really need wifi + cellular? I really only need a ipad for watching anime lmao as well as college, travelling, and using it for notes. I really like the mini kinda leaning towards it. But i need an opinion.

If you have a pro max iphone the mini 6 makes no sense, this is why i sold mine and got the 10 gen instead

I tried to love mini, but man - cannot live with this scaling of ui. Terrible. Apps, main screen, some websites. Sometimes smaller than my iPhone 13 mini! Huuuge con!

ipad mini 6 is tragic. The display is worse than in the samsung tab pro 8.4, which is already several years old. In addition, there is no 120hz refresh rate. For me, it's a tragic tablet, a very weak display, they should give an amoled display from samsung and 120hz refresh then this tablet would be a hit
