Ah so sweet! I remember when a friend of mine got new hearing aids and she just stopped in the street and said 'GUYS I think the tree is making a noise, did you know trees make noise?!' because the wind was blowing though the leaves and she'd never heard it before. It's so cool the differences technology is able to make!

I love when you heard the bird! I am new to hearing aids and I’m trying to adjust. I get kinda like overwhelmed with them easily? Background sounds are just so intense now. Sounds I hear and can’t find. Like a machine whirring. When I first got mine I heard my audiologist from across the room flip papers and was so shocked 😂. I was all like “I hear that!!! The papers from over here!”

This is such a fun video! I used to work as an optician and I've seen the glasses version of this often. It never gets old seeing someone getting all excited about trees having leaves and birds having feathers.

I know this feeling well, it is such an amazing experience. Disturbing too at times since new sounds can be so distracting at first. When I lost what little remained of my hearing and I had to switch to a cochlear implant (hearing aids stopped helping), turning it on after 2 years of nothing was a revelation. Still needed a year of work to adapt, but that year of discovering new sounds was an awesome experience.

edit: and yes, birds were a wonderful discovery.
