As a former HT employee, our company policy was that every customer had to be greeted within 15 seconds of entering the store using our R.O.C.K selling techniques — which included “Open the Conversation, ” “Connect through Music & Pop-Culture, ” and “Keep ‘em Coming back!” Don’t pretend like we weren’t the kindest, most helpful employees in the mall.

I've never had a Hot Topic employee roll thier eyes at me especially when I was an Emo baby, lol. I remember they helped me so much and they even helped me with a Music Theory project I had. Nicest people ever.

People at Hot Topic are sweet. Whenever I went in, they would always greet me and ask how I’m doing. Since I’m a regular, they know I’m really shy and always wait until I come up to THEM to talk. They also always compliment my hair. Super sweet people 🖤
