For anyone wondering, yes homer ate alot more food in here than the steak episode. But, keep in mind there was an instance where he couldnt finish an entire sandwich once it began going rotten. So we know homer gets sick from spoiled or poisoned food. And the steak was confirmed to be beef poisoning. Red hardy eating the full steak while homer not finishing it probably saved him. (( the doctor mightve used " from another restaurant" as an excuse considering his worried tone.))
