I played online yesterday against someone that always ran this play. I ran nickel double gap, cover 2, dropped the middle LB to deep third, hard flats, show blitz, and user’d a blitzing LB. it worked for me. I also used 3-3-5 cover 3 sky with the same coverage audibles. The middle LB is a spy so it made it seem like he was in middle read. I got 3 picks off of it.

So far in this game they just got to tone down fumble frequency, and the fact cpus jump high af in the air to pick the ball online, and ill be happy

slot post is the best play. The post is always almost open. Even if it's not when you throw it gets open. But if its not the the hb angle route is also very good. Then the come back route also is open if the post isn't. And if you need more blocking because the post and come back can take a bit to get open then you can have your TE block. And the HB angle route is almost like your check down but can get a lot of yards as most likely it will be a one on one because everyone else is deep.
