‘A beam of hope’: Signs of life near location where submarine disappeared

Sky News host Caleb Bond says the noises being heard where the submarine disappeared are “a beam of hope”.

“We don’t actually know what’s causing these banging sounds, we hope it’s people inside the vessel, but that’s still not confirmed," he told Sky News host Sharri Markson.

At this point does it matter? All that says is they aren’t dead yet unfortunately… by the time they actually locate them and figure out a way to actually get them the oxygen will be long gone sadly… depressurisation was probably the better of the two ways to go here I’m afraid

The sub isn't on the ocean floor unless tangled in something. It has a "dead mans switch" Sand bags attached via a soluble maternal that after a set time will release the sand bags and the sub will float to the surface.
