That PS4 Dragon Quest Console is a real console and one that is rare in the Dragon Quest community, and that gold piece is a Slime in other words a Golden Slime. Also, there is a silver PS4 version too

PS4 consoles are region free when it comes to games. You can swap the x/o in system settings for japanese cpnsoles. The only thing is that DVDs/Blu-rays are region locked.

That Dragon Quest PS4 is pretty side note the reason why the analog sticks felt sticky is just because the material degrading naturally over time

Found a playstation 4 pro latest version yesterday in a torn up bag sandwiched between two old laptops on the thrash pile near work. Still worked. Had to update the system software, but other than that it works fine. Same place as where we found a boxed Megadrive, punk records and vintage toys like Castle Greyskull to name a few. The stuff people throw away as trash still keeps surprising me, even after all these years as a thrift store employee.
