If I thought that it would stand up to large hail, I would buy one, I doubt it would though by how thin the material is. Here in Alberta we get a lot of hail that damages cars.

the prosuct might be ok but the company is a pain in the butt to deal with. No useful phone #, very slow response to emails and shows up a "potential fraud on the credit card.

There was a guy named Professor Potts that made something like that and they wound up abducting his Grandpa and he had to go get him back with his kids and the neighbor lady then he got into the dog treat business and thats about the last I ever heard about the guy . He may be doing a dance act with a carnival but I don't know . He used to live in a windmill somewhere .
