SUPER EUROBEAT 50 Riff Compilation IMPROVED REUPLOAD
Показать описание
New! Improved! Louder! Nicer looking!
So, what the heck is this? What's a "riff"? And why are there 50 of them? All will be answered.
A riff is a usually instrumental part of a song, bridging the gap between the refrain and following verse. Eurobeat is well known for its frantic and synth-filled riffs.
Running since around 1990 (apparently being the longest running compilation series to date), Super Eurobeat is a eurobeat compilation series, currently consisting of 250 volumes in the main series.
I took these 250 releases and split them into increments of five (i.e. 1-5, 6-10, and so on,), selecting one song from each group, ending up with 50 songs in total. I then transcribed each selected song's bridge by ear, stringing them together until I created what you see here.
A few notes:
- No songs were taken from any volume that is a factor of 10. This is due to said albums containing no new releases, simply showcasing a selection of songs from the last 9 albums.
- Too many people worked on Wanted. It's a miracle that even fit.
- All of this was done by ear. When you convert weird italian disco on steroids to a MIDI, things will sound wonky.
- Running in the 90's was the easiest to transfer (did it completely from memory!), while DD Dance gave me the most grief.
- None of these songs belong to me. I simply turned them into MIDIs and strung them together.
