Thank you for the tip about structural versus organic soil choices. I am a volunteer helping a school create their playground, and our resources are scarce. Knowing that we need to make the planting plan decisions in advance is an important consideration for the success of the project. Those "tidbits" are gold. Thank you for sharing them!

Stan there is a grease point in the back of the quick attach plate. It is in these holes in the back. you have the grease the heck out of it constantly because stuff some how always gets in there and jams it. I have the same issue. we had to the ours apart clean it really good then just keep greasing it once a day at least. I sent you a DM on the gram with a picture of what I am talking about.

I had been thinking all of these exact things in my head to make a berm, and do it right. Not just wanting to dump a load of red clay dirt and spread it into a sloped mound. I had 59 thoughts of the way to properly set it up for several reasons, certain plants, trees, drainage, settling of the dirt, mixing the soil with sand, manure, etc. The berm will serve as a base for planting in heavily rocky, dry ground, under trees, bordering the property and as privacy from the new home next door. I first come to this idea by blowing leaves over to the area, then left it as a 2 foot tall wall of leaves. The idea then came to me to make a berm, and plant trees and shrubs on it. Not affecting anything underneath it, like gas lines, roots from 70 yr old Oak trees, etc. Essentially making something from nothing and gaining privacy, trees, shrubs, etc. Great video !

love your video's and especially your customary sign-off. "God bless." Been in the trades for 35 years since I was 17 and understand the lingo and the everyday situations. I really enjoy problem-solving on the fly. Its shows the hurdles that we all have to deal with, the things that customers never see or consider. The dirty little secrets of construction, it always gets worse before it gets better, the bell curve of a job site.

I have a very difficult time picturing how those berms were going to be laid out. The final result was spot on, well done from San Antonio!

Going back to what you mentioned towards the end of the video about the man who was having a heart attack on the job site. Thank goodness Tim was there and had the wherewithal to rush him to the hospital... probably saving his life as you said. I'm glad everything turned out as it did. Had Tim not done that and the poor fellow lost his life, you would've been looking at a considerable lawsuit. I've seen this happen in similar situations to other companies both big and small. Always love your videos friend and I get so many tips and tricks as you explain the process in your landscape/construction projects! Keep up the good work!

Interesting and entertaining. Still can't see why the hell you would want a hump of stuff in your yard, but to each his own.

Stan don’t use a hammer to try to fix the problem it’s because they’re not greasing it every day those greasers have to be greased every day for it to work properly I have several times the same issues but if they start greasing it every day there won’t be a problem They can bent the pins if the beat it with a hammer. you can also take one side apart spray and freeze them it will work.

I’ve run into those pins sticking so many times. I learned to cycle them a couple times. Every time I get in the Cat.
