Gravenberch has been a revelation. As Slot has said, the energy the midfield three are showing without the ball is outstanding, allied to their technical abilities. Liverpool also has Endo who showed what a great CDM he can be last year (remember that game against City?).

Gravenberch is only 22 and has a massive future ahead!

In Ajax, everyone trust and even rely on Gravenberch, so he shines. In Bayern, he lost the trust and in turn, his confidence. In Klopp's Liverpool, he's already half man. Even Klopp's given chances, he made dodgy decisions and didn't want to take the risk, like making half turn, etc. So Grav looked average but there's still glimpse of his quality, here and there.

But in Slot's Liverpool, he regains the full trust from Slot and his team mates start following the cue. More importantly, Grav himself step up and takes the challenge with both open arms. He start doing and unleashing the things that made Bayern other big club wanted to sign him as a teenager.

We don’t need any players, awe have a well balanced squad until the end of the year, great video, Gakpo and Gravenberch will be great. I love the fact Slot is so tactically astute and has made Jota a number 9 so eases the pressure of Nunez. The subs bench had quality cover for every position too, which was awesome.

I have said it all along…. We should not waste money on an average 6. My own view, unless we can get Touchemeni or Rodri, we should not do it. Graven, Morton, Bajcetic and Endo this year knows our style and can do great job. Graven at 6 reminds me of Viera who was one of epl best 6 ever.
