I was in a rehab facility many years ago. I was allowed out to go to an AA meeting, and I had to submit to a breathalyzer when I got back. That was standard practice any time we left. I can't remember the number, but I blew positive. I totally freaked out because I honestly hadn't touched a drop for 3 or 4 months at that time. They were skeptical, but they gave me the benefit of the doubt. They waited 5 minutes and gave me another test with a new straw and everything. It came up 0%. I was kind of upset though. I asked why it tested on the positive side and the house director told me something like sometimes that happens when you work up a sweat or something along those lines, and I had just walked a few miles back to the house. Long story short, I don't trust those breathalyzers at all anymore!!

4am is still the same day, just because you go to sleep for 2 hours doesn’t mean your not drunk when you wake up and it doesn’t mean it’s not the same day just because you fell asleep
