To anyone confused about the prosthetic "switching sides" different apps have different mirroring settings. Apps like tik tok tend to mirror images while other apps don't. It also depends on your phone camera settings. The leg didn't switch sides, the video just flipped : )

I always forget that my mum only has 9 toes in total. She had one amputated a couple of years ago. She even makes jokes about getting her nails done and wanting a 10% discount 😂

Such an antiquated thing to say. My mom said something like that about when I was born, and I'm a little older than you. When I was pregnant and giving birth, the number of digits my baby would have was the least of my worries. I wanted us to both get through it with as little trauma as possible and that was about it. I knew if my child were born with any type of disability we would all be just fine and they would be loved immensely.

😊 My daughter has Polydactyly and has an extra thumb. I hear people say this all the time and smile thinking, really even if they've got a couple less or extras, you'll be glad they're here and doing well just the same. We had a kinda scary birth, she was breathing, she was perfect, what was there to worry about an extra finger. 😆
