State police conducting death investigation after trooper dies from gunshot wound on Dan Ryan

Illinois State Police said they are conducting a death investigation after a state trooper died from a gunshot wound on the Dan Ryan Friday afternoon.

Why has all the news reports suddenly forgotten about the ‘unidentified off duty female officer that originally radioed it in’? The first report said she’d radioed using the radio in his patrol vehicle.

So some unidentified off duty female cop is the first contact. Possibly from after he did it?
Or ... as I’m more inclined to suspect, that she was in the patrol car with him!
Then either thru dumb unsafe gun handling, or because of an argument, he ends up shot.

The ‘suicide’ seems false, since the patrol vehicle obviously was not in park, instead rolled along in gear coming to rest on the concrete divider. Who commits suicide by shooting themselves in the head while driving?

I do believe there was an unidentified female cop involved, and maybe she’s married to another cop, or whatever, but the thin blue line gang is covering something up for her.

Then with the huge outpouring of condolences, the memorial/honorary lining of the streets by public servants (which was a huge expenditure of taxpayer funded resources), to find out the cop got shot while having a fling with a coworker, well ... public opinion will flip out.

Bro No shot I think someone stole a car in front of me I turned to my home about 11:15 pm Friday 10-1-21 and guys with lights off in someone’s car and soon as they Noticed us They Drove Like 40 down the side STREET (I had tears) we Have Bassicly a race car Durango RT Dodge and what if that was on the street that would not be good and to All of the police out there God bless you all and currently this is what are city turned into 😭😭

Nice guy within the police community and those closest to him but outside the police community check his internal affairs record and complains not a decent human being
