I took Ultra Raptor 2 two weeks ago. Nice shoe, but to be honest not very sure that it is design for running. Hike - yes, but for running seems to be a little bulky/heavy as a tracking/hiking shoe.

How’d they perform when wet? More importantly did they dry quickly?

I use them for many years now, for mountain running, the quality of the shoe got worse with the years. I had to go to the shoe repair shop because the stitches were getting loose, this happened with the last 3 pairs i bought. The price has been raised and the box now reads Hiking instead of Mountain running.

can you make shoes with less colorful colors make it more like dead leaf, mud etc like more the ground color and less alive

Good video. Shoe in video is goretex or non goretex version ? Non goretex is suitable for walk/run on web grass or field afetr thé rain or foot will be web Afterhours ? Gtx version are toi warm In hot sumérien condition ?

I’ve read conflicting reviews that you’ve widened the toebox over previous version. . Is that true?

The heel form and technology is garbage, it abrades the achilles into blood, crazy. I had to modify the whole rear part to make it more comfortable (rip out the leather padding, cut the rear elevation, put my own cushion and upholstery (sewing and gluing) ... not simple task but the only way how to make it wearable). I can not understand why la sportiva is making the rear part super durable at the expense of a bloody leg.

i think ultraraptor is a very good hiking shoe....but a bad running one..
