Going into this show as a historian I was prepared to be greatly let down and annoyed. In fact, it's pretty fantastic, when you regard it as separate to the real history

Someone, please, tell me- why? WHY is this show so underrated?! The dialogue, the comedy, the timing, the character development, the plot- quite literally everything about this show was fantastic without measure. We simply need MORE of this kind of TV!

Nothing bad to say about Elle's acting - she's great - but Nicholas is fking spectacular 👌 He is so dry and the satire is built on this young actors shoulders - then the supporting cast, then Elle .... who is brilliant - but they're better.
Shows how good a show is when the lead is fantastic but everyone else is better.
