I was a homeless addict. My mother notified police that she wanted to find me. Every single time I had an encounter with LE they told me to call Mom. When I cleaned up, Mom told me they called her every time I ran into them and told her I was alive.

There were 2 people close to Robbie that answered questions for us. I will post below
A:
Who reported him missing?
- [His wife] reported him missing after being told for two days that he couldn't be reported missing .
Where was he headed when he left his friend’s house?
- He received a phone call and then left the friend's house according to the friend.
Were Robbie and the friend the only two people at the friend’s house?
- The friend lives with his elderly parents, they were there also.
Is it normal for him to be gone for 5 days with no contact?
- The longest he would be gone would be two to three days.
The reports state that he was wearing green and blue shoes, gray socks and black pants. Is that what his friend said he was wearing or what his wife last saw him in? And does this mean he didn’t have a top on or the person could not recall?
- I would say that the description of the clothes came from the friend because he was the last known person to see him.
Did Robbie change clothes at the friend’s house? If so, what reason was given for this?
- I've been told Robbie’s truck was stuck up and the friend helped get it out his clothes were wet and the friend gave him dry clothes.
Has the friend been questioned?
- Yes the friend has been questioned once at his house and the next time at the police station. The police said they couldn't get a read on him. He has been asked to take a lie detector test.
Does this friend have a history of violence?
- All I know of the friend's character is that the police have done wellness checks on his parents before.
Did [his wife] know of this friend before Robbie went missing?
- I think [his wife] knew of him but had never met him.
Has [his wife] been questioned?
- I'm sure [his wife] has been questioned she's talked to police almost every day. She has never been a suspect.
If he hasn’t been seen since the 9th, why was he not reported missing until the 14th? That was 2 days after his truck was found/seen.
- On the 12th [his wife] got home from work and a note was on the door from the friend for her to call him. He said he was worried about Robbie and that his truck was in the ditch. [His wife] called the police and they met her at the truck she had it towed home.
Were the keys found with the truck or have they been found at all?
- No keys were found.
Does Robbie know anyone in Caswell County?
It was said his truck was spotted on Goodyear Blvd. Does this mean that it was on the side of the road or it was spotted moving?
Was the truck stuck in a ditch?
How far away from the friend’s house was the truck found/seen?
- The truck was in a ditch about 1 mile from friend’s house which is in NC.
Has CCTV footage been checked along the route that he may have traveled or around where the truck was found to see if Robbie was the one driving the truck after he left his friend’s house?
- There was a gas station near where the truck was found they checked surveillance footage from that day and it was snowing so hard all that could be made out was shapes of people
We were told the police did not finger print the truck because the friend admitted to being in it. Why was it said the friend was in the truck? Why would they not finger print the truck?
- The friend said he had been in it to make sure it was his and also the tow trucker driver, so the police said it wouldn't do any good to fingerprint it.
It had been reported that Robbie’s phone was found. Then we were told that it had not been found. Has his phone been found?
- His cell phone has not been found
Have cell records been checked for phone calls right before and in the time since his disappearance?
- Phone records have been turned over to police who said they couldn't do anything with them until proof of a crime
Where was Robbie’s wallet found? We have heard 3 different places, the couch at the friend’s house, the floor at the friend’s house and in the pants Robbie changed out of at the friend’s house.
- When the police called the friend to tell him they were coming to question him he in turn called [his wife] and said oh yea I forgot I have Robbie’s wallet
Law enforcement stated this was somewhat of a dual investigation. It seems they think there may have been foul play and there may not have been. What are your thoughts on this?
- The only reason for it to be a dual investigation would be that they think the friend had something to do with it.
Are there friends in Roanoke that Robbie could be with? If so have they been contacted?
Could he have gone home to West Virginia?
Has all of the family in WV been contacted if any?
- Every friend VA and WV has been contacted no one has heard from him
What is the time line of events as you know them?
-So the time line he left on the 9th, friend contacted [his wife] on the 12th late evening [his wife] contacted the police on the 13th and was told they would not put out a missing person report she contacted a friend, who had a friend, who had a friend at the Danville police department and finally on the 14th the report was filed.

Who reported him missing?
- “His wife”
Where was he headed when he left his friend’s house?
- “We don't know. Home would be my guess.”
What does he do for a job?
- “He's a carpenter and stone mason by trade..”
Is it normal for him to be gone for 5 days with no contact?
- “His wife stated 2 days with her. He does not just leave and not come home for an extended period of time.”
The reports state that he was wearing green and blue shoes, gray socks and black pants. Is that what his friend said he was wearing or what his wife last saw him in? And does this mean he didn’t have a top on or the person could not recall?
- “His friend said he was soaking wet when he arrived from the snow. He gave him a change of clothes. So I would say the friend gave that description. Also speculative from what his wife told me.”
His wife states she hasn’t seen him since the 9th. Was she at the friend’s house with Robby?
- “No. She went to work that afternoon.”
Was there a reported “misunderstanding or argument” with the friend that he was visiting or the wife?
- “Not to my knowledge. It has come back to me there are rumors going around that there was an argument.”
Has the friend been questioned?
- “To my knowledge yes, twice.”
Has his wife been questioned?
- “I'm sure she has been through standard process. I do not personally believe there is any foul play on her part.”
If he hasn’t been seen since the 9th, why was he not reported missing until the 14th? That was 2 days after his truck was found/seen.
- “She (wife) contacted all of his friends and family searching for him herself first. Once that turned up empty she reported him as missing.”
The friend’s house he was at. Is this a close friend or an acquaintance?
- “I honestly don't know.”
How far does he live away from the friend?
- “Not sure.”
Were the keys found with the truck or have they been found at all?
- “Not sure of this either. [Wife] told me everything was still in the truck when found. But she didn't mention keys specifically.”
How far away from the friend’s house was the truck found/seen?
- “Off the exit near the friend’s house. Less than a mile from my understanding.”
Have his bank accounts/cards been checked?
- “She checked that first thing. And continually checked it daily. No activity at all.”
Has anything been going on in his life where anyone thinks that he would need to get away or he felt like he needed to start over?
- “Not to my knowledge. He and his mother are very close. I know he would tell her where he is if that was the case.”
Why did law enforcement wait so long to put the missing person’s report out to the public? They stated that there comes a point that the info needs to be released in a case and they felt that was the time to do it. It is known that the first 24-48 hours in a missing person’s case are crucial to the person being found.
- I couldn't say.”
It was said his truck was spotted on Goodyear Blvd. Does this mean that it was on the side of the road or it was spotted moving?
- “It was abandoned on the side of the road.”
Was the truck stuck in a ditch?
- “No just sitting on the shoulder.”
Are there friends in Roanoke that Robby could be with? If so have they been contacted?
- “Every friend we know of from the past and present has been contacted. I know I personally have had at least 15 friends share all my post to the area. The AWARE FOUNDATION has also covered that area well.”
Could he have gone home to West Virginia?
- “No. We are all in constant contact with each other. No one has heard from him.”
Has all of the family in WV been contacted if any?
- “Absolutely.”
Have there been any search parties around the friends has or around where the truck was found?
- “Yes there were 2 jurisdictional searches that turned up nothing.”
What are your theories on where Robby could be or what happened that day?
- “I have no idea. I just want him to be ok and come home to his family to put their hearts at ease.. They all deserve more.. Its heart crushing to watch them go through this..”

Jon, I live in Caswell County and I am just a couple of miles from the Virginia line. My father was raised in Danville. It hurts me to say that I have never heard about this case nor seen any missing persons posters anywhere in town or surrounding towns, I haven’t heard about it on the news... This is very concerning and I will try to make a difference myself

Speculation is so touchy on this one. The opiate issue throws a wrench in everything, doesn't it? That seems to be the case when dealing with addictions. Gotta say as always John you are so very thorough, look at all those links you provided. Prayers for the family and for Robbie wherever he is.

Some important info on Narcan. It is an opioid agonist. When administered, it’s almost immediately effective at reversing the effects of opiates. One BIG problem is that Narcan/naloxone only works for a period of time, dependent on metabolism and dose. When Narcan wears off, the opiates KICK IN AGAIN. Narcan has to be administered several times until the actual opiates are leaving the system. If someone has to be given Narcan, it’s always wise to go to a hospital or at the very least, keep a watchful eye and readminister if effects of opiates return and seem profound.
