Everyone is thinking, that every lawyer earn 50 lakhs per day. That is a joke. There are lawyers who struggle to pay rent in the beginning of their career. Whenever, they go under any senior they have to work for 6 months to 1 year without any payment. After getting enrolled they have spend years so that they can start their own chamber. The client thinks that, it is only a few minutes case. But for those few minutes a lawyer has spend years of studying.
They owe us for the years not for the minutes.

Speaking from a law students perspective. No hard feelings.
