The funny part about Painful Choice vs Foolish Burial is if you want a SPECIFIC card in the GY you just show your opponent 2 copies with Painful Choice and at least 1 is getting there.

26:22 Glow-Up bulp was a one-card Halqu. It not only was good when you summon it with Halq its just generelly good in any deck with a good link 2. You just go glow-up, relinquished, glowup effect have a link two that can go in every deck. Today its just any deck could use that as their normal summon to get into moon into fiend Smith.

Like at 11:26 he could’ve explained Xyz summoning as like evolving a pokemon, whether it’s normal into EX or V maxing a V Pokemon.

26:44 100%. It was banned in a period when Konami literally said: "look, we know you like to synchro summon, but we want to push the newly released xyz summon a bit more".
Plant engine would have been completely fine going forward. The only instance glow up bulb would have been too strong would have been in combination with halqifibrax, although that may have been applicable for any good level 3 or lower tuner.
