Lyrics:
Come on, come on, come on, come on
Give it, give it, give it, give it, give it, alright

Let's try it in slow motion, yeah baby
Make it last a little longer, ah darlin'
Let's try it in slow motion, yeah baby
And make it last a little longer, stronger, longer, stronger

Baby, don't haste make waste
And your good loving is just too good to waste
I want you to understand me
That making love can be a specialty

And baby, I need your love
I want your love, I need your love

And now let's do it in slow motion, yes, darlin'
And make it last a little longer, ah baby
And let's do it in slow motion, yes darlin'
And make it last a little longer, stronger, longer, stronger

Baby, when you put your lips on mine
Don't jerk them back too fast, no, no
I said, kiss me, squeeze me, let me know you need me
Let's try to make our love last, yeah
Come on baby, I need your love
I want your love, I need your love

And now let's do it in slow motion, yes darlin'
Make it last a little longer, ah baby
Let's try it in slow motion, yes darlin'
Make it last a little longer, stronger, longer, stronger

Baby, come on, let's do it, let's do it
Let's do it in slow motion baby, yeah
Make it all right, make it all night
Make it all right if it takes all night
Yes, do it, do it in slow motion, in slow motion

Slow motion, slow, slow, slow, slow, slow motion
It's slow motion, don't lose it, don't lose the groove
Don't lose it baby, don't lose the groove
You, know I like it, yeah, yeah
You may like the way I like it baby, alright, in slow motion

Thanks to all who keeps my father's music alive. I can always watch him or hear his voice whenever I think about him because of Johnny (Immortal) Williams!

This song is the TRUE essence of what SOUL music was all about, and I am absolutely positive that I've played this song over 800 times to date!

WORDS CANNOT BEGIN TO EXPRESS HOW LONG I'VE WAITED TO SEE THIS CLIP AGAIN. I saw it the day it aired and I never forgot that he wore hot pants. The only other male act that wore hot pants at the time - aside from the infamous pimped out early Soul Train Al Green clip, complete with buccaneer boots - was...you ready? SMOKEY ROBINSON & THE MIRACLES on their farewell tour with Smokey! But again..whatever happened to Johnny Williams? Does anyone know? One slice of funk and he fell off the face of the earth! Lord have mercy but what a slice he left behind! Somebody give me an update on this brother!

I've only heard this song not too long ago and of course it now lives in rotation on my Spotify. The Tom Moulton Mix with the stronger and clear bass is my favorite. 26 year old me love nothing but the classic oldies.

This song was played at a house party I attended with my boyfriend at the time. The young lady that lived there was about 16. She was so happy and free spirited. We had a great time.

Johnny Williams. - Slow Motion. (Official Soul Train Video)
Johnny certainly knows how to capture an audience and he does so with such gusto.
This song lends itself fully to a jamming session. They’re all having a great time and he’s providing what they’re craving for a ‘Party Atmosphere.’
Well Done, Johnny.
We’ll continue in party 🎊 mode.
Lovely 🥰

I remember this song as a a 8 or 9 year old child. Watching soul train. Wow awesome music back then. I hated to see the 1970s go but will always remember those times
