Yes, CS2 now has shuttering issue. I think I have the best gig with i9 12900k and 4090 but it still happen to me at some points of the match, where I see the T running with MAC10 like Tracer in Overwatch and I missed all the shots, but his shots landed on my head.

I dont think community voted skins would work in counter strike for a few reasons.

1) plagiarism is a real problem in the CS workshop. Valve themselves don’t know what’s plagiarized and what’s not, I doubt they trust the community to make the distinction.

2) manipulation is rampant in CS. A lot of CS players go to great lengths to have things their way. If they held community votes, most likely the case farmer in china would just use his thousands of accounts to vote on their favorite skins or worse, conspire with a skin creator to get their submission accepted.

3) CS players themselves are very closed minded when it comes to skins. Anything futuristic looking is “valorant BS” and anything anime related “weeb crap”. The only reason we have cool skins like the AWP chrome cannon or the M4 temukau is because valve doesn’t listen to the haters and release stuff they believe will be well received by the quiet majority of the playerbase.

When it comes to optimalization i havent notice anything. I bought new pc in the end of last year, ryzen 7 5800x3d and rtx 4060, 32gb ram. Cs2 works perfectly for me, i play on highest setting (4:3) and get somewhere around 450-500 fps.

some times i get s ms spike of 500 to 1000 ms. and it feels like ping is spiking.
