Dallas will never be boring just as they will never be elite.

They don't have a defense that has nothing to do with burrow if you can't stop the other team regardless

Chris Candy's take is funny. The offense scored 33 points. This dude shouldn't be taking seriously.

The bengals are cooked. Their schedule doesn’t get any easier.

Cee Dee is not the only WR and target that Dak should focus on. We have this thing in Dallas that you have a running back Emmit, a WR Michael and a TE Jay. That is old 90’s football and the Cowboys are stuck playing 90’s football and not today’s football. You need multiple sets of WR. KaVontae Turpin could be the next Tyree Hill if the Cowboys learn to use him in open field as a slot receiver. The Cowboys offense is old and boring. The QB does not lead the offense with a sense of urgency. This requires better coaching.

Love Burrow but he only scored 6 points in the first half with all his weapons (special teams scored the other 7 points)... in a shootout.

Burrow's high paid offense scored 0 points in 3 straight possessions and only needed to score a TD in 1 of those 3 possessions to win (needed 2 TDs to help the decimated defense by staying in the lead)... Burrow said something similar in his presser that they needed to score more in 1st half

If Ja'Marr had accepted $35M per year then the offense would be even higher paid. Will future games make a stronger case to pay the offense even more than they are now? Or should more money go to the defense?

Top 5 Paid Players of each team Right Now =
Steelers $91.1M
Vikings $114M
Jaguars $118M
Bills $118M
Bengals $126M
(w/Ja'Marr at $35M=$148.8M)
(w/Ja'Marr at $40M=$153.8M)
Browns $128M
Ravens $129M
Chiefs $132M
49ers $136M
Eagles $151M
Miami $157M

Per Forbes, all these teams make $40M-$120M more than the Bengals

If Ja'Marr would have accepted $35M, then Burrow and Ja'Marr would make $90M and the top 5 paid players on the Steelers would make $91.1M

Steelers top 5 paid players = $91.1M
TJ Watt $28M
Minkah $18M
Highsmith $17M
Cam Heywood $14.5M
Queen $13.6M

Bengals top 5 paid players =$126M
Burrow $55M
Tee $21.8M
Trey $21M
Orlando $16M
Rankins $12.2M

If Ja'Marr had accepted $35M then the top 5 Bengals = $148.8M
Burrow $55M
Ja'Marr $35M
Tee $21.8M
Trey $21M
Orlando $16M

Chiefs top 5 = $132M
Mahomes $45M
Chris Jones $32
Jawaan Taylor $20M
Creed Humphrey $18M
Travis Kelce $17M

Bengals DL is decimated by injuries

Bengals had 4 DL injured prior to the chiefs game and then BJ Hill and Sheldon Rankins left the chiefs game with injuries (Hill in the 2nd quarter and Rankins in the 3rd quarter). Bengals just signed 34 yr old Lawrence Guy Wednesday before MNF

Myles Murphy (1st round pick 2023) is out 4-6 weeks with knee injury. Missed 1st 3 games

Kris Jenkins (2nd round pick 2024) had thumb surgery but just came back to practice Wednesday with a club. Missed first 2 games and played some in 2nd half on MNF (wouldn't have played if didn't have so many injuries on DL)

McKinnley Jackson, Rookie but important depth is on IR for leg/ankle injury. Missed first 3 games

Cam Sample is out for year with torn Achilles... had successful surgery

BJ Hill had a knee injury leading up to chiefs game and then left the chiefs game with hamstring injury. Did not play on MNF

Sheldon Rankins left chiefs game with hamstring injury. Did not play on MNF

Sam Hubbard has been playing with injuriy that will have to be managed all season per Sam in an interview a couple weeks ago

Been saying this since before the chiefs game when there were already concerns with 4 DL injuries
