A lot of his pieces portray the same message about life, death and mainly the living that takes place in between. He often questions those concepts but this one in particular seemed to concentrate on the innocence that is destroyed in that endeavor.

But the song sings as if to bring all of that back before the light is extinguished.
and its so bittersweet that one can focus on something most of the world considers trivial.
Sawano, I can see your soul, and it is beautiful.
