Energy Transfer Examples - GCSE Physics

This video introduces how to deal with some energy transfer questions you may be asked, including some energy transfer examples. We need to be able to deal with how to describe the energy changes in energy stores for certain scenarios.
When you describe the changes in energy stores for a scenario, you must break the problem down into three parts:
1. Choose a clear start and end point
2. Decide which energy stores are involved in the process
3. Name the transfer processes that take place between the stores
There are eight different energy stores: Kinetic, Gravitational Potential, Elastic Potential, Chemical, Thermal, Magnetic, Electrostatic and Nuclear.
There are four different types of energy transfer: Heating, Electrical, Radiation (including sound, light and all electromagnetic waves) and Mechanical.
