Meteora - UNESCO World Heritage Site

Meteora is an incredible and unique UNESCO World Heritage Site. Located in central Greece, it's a rare Mixed Heritage site, meaning that it has important cultural and natural heritage. It's a collection of Orthodox monasteries located on rock pinnacles around a valley, perched up in almost impossible positions. Some have existed as hermit communities for over a thousand years, and many are still populated today, though only with a handful of monks or nuns.

This is one of the most incredible spots we've been to on the whole Journey so far, and a video that we enjoyed making immensely.
